Jack has been given some special jumping beans by his uncle and told not to eat them. Naturally, he pops them in his mouth almost straight away. Soon he gets a tingling in his legs and then he’s bouncing and jumping all over the town himself, getting into all sorts of trouble.

This book is fiction.My favourite character is Gran because she made beans that made Jack jump a lot. My favourite part was when Gran made jumping beans that weren’t cooked.So the uncooked beans made Jack jump all over the place. This is a funny book and want all of my friends to read it

The book is not bad bit it's not my style. I would recommend the book too children smaller than me like from year 3 or 4.

I quite like the theme of this book and the fact that it was a funny book. Jack gets into a lot of trouble and it’s funny. I like that it was set in normal life but with magic in it.

I have given this a 3 because it was quite funny but the teachers were angry in the story. They incorrectly blamed jack when it was the beans fault. I wouldn’t recommend this book and was glad it was short.

My book was fiction. My favourite charecter was Jake because he ate the jumping beans that made him jump on every step he takes. I would like to recomend this book to my freind Harry.
