The children have to find their friend and stop an assassination plot. It was exciting but also sad in places.

I like this book because when the gladiators were fighting it sounded really cool when they swung the net around their feet. When Nubia tries to choose if she wants to set Jonathon free or her brother. What I didn’t like is when they thought that Jonathon was dead and started praying. It was very sad. My favourite character was Nubia because she saved Jonathon and Flavia

The book was really good and I would recommend it to friends. It was fiction.
