Stink and the Midnight Zombie Walk
Peter H. Reynolds, Megan McDonald
Reading is UNdead! Everyone has zombies on the brain as Stink’s school and a local bookshop cook up a frightfully fun Main Street event.
Guts! Brains! Eyeballs! There’s only one week before the new book in the Nightmare on Zombie Street series comes out. Of corpse Stink will be first in line at the Blue Frog Bookstore to buy his copy and join the town’s Midnight Zombie Walk! Until then, Stink and his friends keep busy making ketchup-stained zombie costumes, trying to raise money to buy the book and racking up points for Virginia Dare School’s race to one million minutes of reading. But with all that talk about the undead, Zink – that is, Stink – starts to wonder: is he being hunted by zombies? He does have a very delicious – er, superb – brain, after all. Readers will just have to open ze book and zee! Mwa ha ha ha!

This book is a good book. To me it's all about how there are best friends who are zombie fans.

I didn't like the zombies talking about eating brains. I didn't finish the book because I was scared of having nightmares. Mum said the zombies in the story were in the imaginations of the children in the story, but I still didn't like it.

Being exciting and adventurous, this book was a pleasure to read. Although it had some gruesome bits from time to time, the best thing I noticed about the book is that, the way the author wrote it makes you feel that you want to keep reading it and never stop and that's the best things about books- they should make you feel like you want to never put the book down. I liked Stink the best as he is a really important character and plays a humorous role in the book. I would definitely recommend this book and hope that whoever reads it, enjoys it!
