A perfect story for pony-lovers from KATY’S EXMOOR PONIES author Victoria Eveleigh, in which Jenny secretly befriends Midnight, a wild stallion, on the island of Lundy. Perfect for fans of horse and pony stories, Lauren St John, Pippa Funnell and Michael Morpurgo.

Midnight is a wild stallion who won’t let anyone tame him. Anyone, that is, except Jenny – but that’s their secret. Jenny dreads the day she’ll have to leave him on their island home and go away to school, especially as rumours are spreading that Midnight is dangerous. How can Jenny keep Midnight safe and free if she’s not there to protect him?

a heartwarmer this book is incredibly written and is so good at drawing you into the story. As someone who lives near the island in the book i can truly say that everleigh has done it justice.

It is a good book, if I could I would give it 10 stars. I recccomed it for 8-12 year olds. I would also recommend it if you are looking for something good to read.

It's an amazing story about how someone didn't give up, and the it all ended happily ever after.

I think people should read this because it is very adventureous in many ways I recommend this book to children who are mad about horses.
