I quite enjoyed this book. It was about a little girl called Lottie, who lived in a Magical Pet Shop (where animals talked)and how she found a tiny rabbit stuck in an ordinary pet shop, alone, unloved and afraid. He was stuck in a tight cage, with no room to even hop in.His name was Barney...

This book is one of a magic animal series about a girl called Lottie and her adventures in a magic land. While the storyline is quite good, it didn't really grip me because it is probably aimed at a younger reader - aged 7-10. The plot tells of an ill-treated rabbit which is rescued by Lottie thanks to her magical powers. Although this is an easy read in some ways, I was left a bit confused by some of the characters who are mentioned without being introduced enough.
