This book was good and it was so interesting learning more about the romans I love reading the history book as that is my favourite topic in school but this book was so good

Romans built everything including roads but were very cruel. Setting up public arenas to watch gladiators fight each other to the death or fight wild animals was their idea of entertainment.

It was a bit gruesome but lovely because it told you all the gruesome facts and it would definitely scare your teacher a bit apart from that it was good!

I liked it because they did gladiators fights. I would recommend this to somebody because you will learn Romans in yr4 like I did. :)

I absolutely love this book because it was both informative and funny. It is brilliant if you want to have a good laugh! I would highly recommend this book to any history lovers. My favourite part was when there is the chapter ' a few fowl facts ' because it was really funny. I think Terry Deary is a marvolous author and Martin Brown is a tremendous illustrator. I also love the other books too!
