From multi-award-winning Neil Gaiman comes a spectacularly silly, mind-bendingly clever, brilliantly bonkers adventure – with lip-smackingly gorgeous illustrations by Chris Riddell.

Mum’s away. Dad’s in charge. There’s no milk. So Dad saves the day by going to buy some.

Really, that’s all that happens. Very boring. YAAAAAAAAAWN.

There are absolutely none of the following inside: GLOBBY GREEN ALIENS! INTERGALACTIC POLICE! PIRATES! And most definitely NOT a time-travelling hot-air balloon piloted by the brilliant Professor Steg …

Don’t miss this gloriously entertaining novel about time-travel, dinosaurs, milk and dads.

I like the story because it is funny. I like the different characters. My favourite is the dad as he collects the milk and does lots of missions.

This is a very interesting book therefore i do highly recommend it. The story is about a man and his wonderful adventure of time travel so if you like that, you must read it.

This is a fantastic book, a bit complex so I recommend this to children aged 6+. I like the book because it is very realistic at the start but the middle and end is unrealistic. I like the time travel- it didn't feel like it was in the past but also not in the present or future. I also like the characters especially the little boy.

Definitely five! It's a massive quest that starts with a trip to buy milk and then he goes across the galaxy with a stegosaurus. Lots of laughs.

It is a simple read, and quick read, yet it is surprisingly gripping as this book has an amazing plot line and the illustrations allow you to visualise the situation.
