Mrs Tittlemouse is a terribly tidy little wood mouse. She is always sweeping her burrow, polishing and tidying. It is an endless job and it seems that no sooner has she made a good start than another messy visitor appears to leave their muddy footprints everywhere.

Beatrix Potter had in her youth made beautiful microscopic studies of insects, and this knowledge enabled her to produce delightful pictures of the many uninvited guests, from spiders to bees, found in Mrs. Tittlemouse’s underground home.

The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse is number eleven in Beatrix Potter’s series of 23 little books, the titles of which are as follows:

I really liked the book but it was a little bit scary because of the spider in it. It was pretty hard to read some words because I didn't know what they meant as I haven't learned them yet. The story is over one hundred years old so some of the words were different to what we use like parlour, larder and pantry. I liked the story because it was about a little mouse and I really like mice. The illustrations were cool. They were really detailed.

This was a delightful, homey, timeless tale for anyone to enjoy. It was about Mrs Tittlemouse, a mouse who loves her house to be neat and tidy, who has a series of unwelcome and dirty visitors... Mr Fisher struck me as a funny but strange individual with a desire for honey and the bees that buzzed 'Bizz, Wizz, Wizzz!' were a funny addition. I would recommend it to all readers for an entertaining story, but perhaps 5+ if I was specific. Overall, a lovely, amusing tale that was a pleasure to read! :)

This is how I can summarise this book: Mrs Tittlemouse is a mouse. She is a germaphobic and extremely tidy mouse who continuously cleans up her house and gets rid on unwanted uninvited guests. I recommend you read it.

I thought this book was ok, but I thought it was going to be better, because the mouse tidied her house but every time she had a visitor he left big footprints in the end she made the door too small.

I like this book because it is very exciting but then it can get a little bit boring sometimes when Mrs.tittlemouse is just cleaning
