I enjoyed this book because there was a lot of mystery, and it was interesting reading about Elizabeth Fairbanks rubys and how they had been passed down through generations.And why strange marine activity had occurred.

in this book we have a return from some of our old friends...aka the count, ruby, Clancy, hitch, blacker, froghorn or rather frohorn and LB. the plot is to steal a vile of truth serum from a monster from the legends which happens to involve the count. what a surprise!
