I thought that this book was wonderful. It was really lovely as Lottie's mum came home and although Lottie was scared that she may have to leave the pet shop Barney the rabbit helped her mum see magic and want to stay at the pet shop. The really sad bit in the book was when Sofie ran away because she thought that Lottie loved barney the rabbit more than her, by showing her a horrible vision. I was really sad that Sofie may have died and read read a later book to see if she was still in it (she didn't die). It also looks like Lottie's dad is still alive too. I would recommend this book as it is really good.

I would definitely recommend this fantastic fiction book because it is a great story about a girl called Lottie who lives in a magical pet shop, where all the animals can talk. In this adventure Lottie and her dog Sofie rescue a magical rabbit that is trapped in an ordinary pet shop.
