Reviews
This is a really good and funny book. It is all about a little boy called Barnaby whose Dad goes missing and because of it they can’t afford to keep their house. Barnaby and his Mom had to move in with Granny Hogsflesh who was a pickle farmer. Granny was an unkind character but at the end of the book realised how unkind she had been. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes funny, fictional books.

I like the idea of the bogle's being in granny hogsflesh's house, and it is a mystery until the end, where everything ,makes sense and fits together.

You should read this book because it is very interesting and has a lot of good facts. I would recommend this book to teenagers because they kind of like older books so I rate this with 2 stars.

Hilariously funny! A 10 year old boy Barnaby who is forced to live with his gruesome granny Hogsflesh. Whoops! I mean Ho- flay. And of course he is more than weird. He soon finds out his own granny is crazy about pickling while him and his mother have eyes only for fresh produce (mainly peas in particular) His granny is also a bogle! and he finds an old diary belonging to a beetroot farmer named Mary Morley who just so happened to be Granny's mother! She grew up in Bogle Bog near the Forest of Fen.
