This is a look at the foul side of science. It examines grim families of bugs, what slugs do with their slime, why flies throw up in tea, and how insects drink human blood. There are facts, teacher tests and quizzes.

I liked all the facts and pictures because the facts are interesting and the pictures look AWESOME. I recommend this book to someone who thinks bugs are interesting. My favourite chapter was probably Underwater Uglies on page 35 because I enjoy learning about all the different types of water beetle.
