I really liked the premise of this book when i read it for the first time (i just reread it) : what if you were told that you could be famous but only if you dropped your best friend? The book tells of Sasha Nell Jodie and Rose who have their own band. They make silly videos to entertain themselves in the holidays. But then Sasha's gets stolen and the videos are entered into Killer Act; a competition for musically talented teens to advertise the largest social networking site. The girls are told they are through to the final...but only without Rose. It is about Sasha when she has to deal with hate mail and hashtags about how mean her Jodie and Nell were. This may sound like a rubbishy teen cyber bullying thing, but its really not. Its also about romance, friendship, careers and songwriting!! Great book, would recommend to girls 12+ :)
