The Storm Seal
Judy Waite, Neil Reed
When Peter finds a tiny, stranded seal pup he takes it back home to his fisherman’s cottage and feeds it. Soon all the village children come along to see his new pet and Peter realises it’s time to take the growing seal back to the sea where it belongs.

I liked flippers and I liked the seal. I liked all of the seals, especially the ending was good!!!!

The words really made a good image of what the place was like. The pictures were really realistic - I could imagine actually being there. The only thing that could have been even better, would have been if the old man, Peter, spoke using words that would sound more like someone old from that place.

I liked where the children came over to play with the seal.

I liked it when peters friends came to play with the seal and they dressed him in a scarf, glasses and a hat.
