My favourite person was Esme she was the main character I liked her because she had a few problems and by the end of the book she did not have a perfect life but a good one I would reccomend it to ages 8+

this book is good because Ismey and her brother matty are very naughty. And they are looking for a new mum. This book made me sad and happy as The people went through different emotions. I learnt that you can miss someone who you never know before. It makes you think about your feeling towards other.

Esmie (my name's Esme so imagine the surprise I got when I read the blurb!) lost her mum when she was a tiny baby and has kept a little photo of her ever since. Sometimes, if Esmie needs advice, she asks the photo and sometimes, she gets an 'answer'. Although she never knew her Mum, Esmie thinks her Dad is the lonely and that's when the Mum Hunt begins...
