Dinkin Dings and the Double from Dimension 9
Guy Bass, Pete Williamson
When Dinkin is told he needs to wear glasses, he can barely contain his terror, for he knows that there’s more to a pair of glasses than meets the eye… But in his haste to get rid of them, Dinkin unwittingly brings his bespectacled double from Dimension 9 to life… and unlike Dinkin, Danger Dings is afraid of nothing.
Reviews

In this book, there is a boy who is scared of everything except three monsters who live in his room, the frightening things. In this book, his double appears from a mirror from a different dimension. This book is very good and I would recommend it to people who like scary or monster stories.

Very spooky but not too spooky to scare me - it was interesting, I liked the ghosts.

It's about this boy named Dinkin Dings who is afraid of everything except 3 things 1.The monster under his bed 2. The skeleton in his cupboard 3. The ghost outside his window. He calls them the frightening things. Suprisingly, his mirror is actually a portal to dimension 9 and his opposite self escapes! What will Dinkins do?

I liked the book, but the character, Danger was a bit scary. My favourite character was Edgar the skeleton, because he is cool! I would recommend this book to a person who likes quite spooky stories.
