Amy has always loved cats and is thrilled when she spots a tiny little black kitten in her garden. Although she has no collar, she looks too well cared for to be a stray. Misty starts to spend more and more time with Amy, but just as she starts to think of the kitten as hers, the real owners show up.

I loved this book. I liked how Misty was named, "she came out of mist". My favourite character is Misty. She has to live in a home with another cat, but bigger, who steals her food and makes her life miserable. So when she meets a girl in a treehouse, she goes every day. When the girl has to take Misty back to her owner(and the big cat), she didn't expect Misty to be given TO her, as a reward. I recommend this book to not just people who own or love cats(I don't have one and am not a big fan of them), it was just fun and makes your curiosity come out.

I thought this was a great book. It was about a girl called Amy and she really wants a kitten then she finds Misty. It was fiction and my favourite character was Misty who is called Jet.

I love the book but Misty Was not really abandoned so I would give it a 4 star rating. The book is interesting because its a Holly Webb book and..I like Holly Webb books and I LOVE really cute animals. The cutest for me are cats,dogs and rabbits so that really helped for me to get it + Misty is cute so no one could stop me from getting it...for the reading challenge. I like Charley because he is a cat just a cat will make me happy unless I get really sad :[

I like this book because a girl really wants a cat and her parents think she is too young and don't let her until a cat keeps seeing her so she feeds it and then the cat becomes hers but it has other owners so she has to give it back but then it comes back to her and the other owners say she can keep the kitten
