When twin foals are born on Drysdale Farm, their owner, Nick Summers, asks Mandy and James to help. Nick is so busy that he hasn’t time to care for the sick baby foals. If he can’t make the farm a success soon, it will have to be sold, and Mandy knows that means the foals will have to go.

It is an extremely amazing book, but sad when Dot dies, even when Mr Hope and Mr Summers get 2 new foals for Dash to play with.

I really enjoyed this book, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes reading about animals my favourite part was meant Mandy, James and other kids all try to stop Marrs from getting to Drysdale Farm that part was funny and overall I really enjoyed it especially the animal participation.

This book was very good I really enjoyed it and I love the way Mandy and James always come up with ideas to help the animals and the fact that Welford are so much like a big family and always help each other. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading about animals it is a really good book I hope you enjoy it.

I liked the fact that Mr Summers gave Nick another chance at Drysdale and I liked it when Mr Summers and Adam got two foals to keep Dash company.
