It was scary because Blackbeard locked other people in churches. Blackbeard was a nasty, evil pirate. I did not like him. I would recommend this book because other people may like a scary story!

I liked the bit where they snuck weapons in to help save the island.

I liked the person who won the battle on a different island. Blackbeard got away on the little boy’s boat.
