I really liked it because it was really liked learning about hedgehogs. My favourite bit was at the end when he found out how to cross the road.

I like that Max becomes a hero because he helps the hedgehogs cross the road safely! He gets in such a muddle with his words because he has a bumped head and these words made me laugh.

I thought this book was a bit small for me but I would recommend this book to Dick King-Smith fans if they haven't come across this book before or for children just starting to read.

It’s really thrilling because the family of hedgehogs. The hedgehog often crosses the road and i like that. My favourite character is hodgeheg, he does lots of cool stuff.

I loved the book it was funny when Max got his words muddled up and I think the lollipop lady would have been very confused when the Hedgehogs lined up to cross the road. A great story

Max is so eager to cross the road. I have read Dick King-smith books in my class but thay were'nt as funny as this one. I would recamend it to my friends at school.5/5 is my rating.
