The Sheep-Pig
Dick King-Smith, Mary Rayner, Julia Eccleshare
Farmer Hoggett thinks the piglet he wins at the fair is just one to be fattened up for the freezer until his old sheepdog, Fly, takes Babe under her wing and starts to train him to be a sheepdog too. Babe’s methods are unconventional but successful and he wins the Grand Challenge Trials by being polite to his flock of sheep.
Reviews
I liked the book because it’s a book about animals, but some animals were rude and mean and I don’t really like that My favourite character was the pig cause he wants to be a sheep-pig

I like it a bit.But it was more fun reading it with Daddy. We read a couple of chapters every 2 days. I would recommend this book 6+.

It was long so it was interesting. It shows how you can use your imagination. The sad part is when Ma( a sheep) gets killed by some naughty dogs. I liked the setting and the pictures. It was easy to read.
