This book was about esme trying to get more animal acts for her acrobatics and she had to build a sweetshop to attract more customers by opening a sweet shop when she messed up. I thought astrid’s act was pretty funny.

My favourite character was Magnus because he was very clever. Another character I liked was Gus because he was so cute. I thought Esme was very good at turning her behavior around. I would recommend this book to my friend Tristan because he would like Cosmo, another character because he was so naughty.

This book is about a circus girl who runs a sweetshop circus. I think this story is an adventure tale. Esme the circus girl puts up a sweetshop circus with her cousins, Gus, Cosmo and Magnus. The main characters are Esme, Cosmo, Gus, Magnus and Donk. The animals who performed are Astrid the cormorant, the puffball penguins and Mallow the unicorn pig. My favorite part is when the circus animals perform in front of Esme's cousins. I really enjoyed this story because it is all about the circus.
