Let it be flour babies. Let chaos reign.

When the annual school science fair comes round, Mr Cartwright’s class don’t get to work on the Soap Factory, the Maggot Farm or the Exploding Custard Tins. To their intense disgust they get the Flour Babies – sweet little six-pound bags of flour that must be cared for at all times.

I liked Simon Martin the most because he was a tough guy who had to do this dumb science fair and he didn’t get to do the fun stuff but after he eavesdropped on his teachers, he thought they said that they would get to explode the science projects after the science fair was over but after some time he started to like his flour baby and talked to it about his life. I would definitely recommend it.

I read this because my Mum liked it when she was small. It was pretty good. I prefer Harry Potter.

I loved this book! I must admit when I first picked it up, I was a little sceptical to read it but after the first few chapters, I really got into it. With a strong theme of family running throughout the book.
