A picture-book retelling of the Grimm fairy-tale about the king who locked his 12 daughters in their bedroom every night. Every morning 12 pairs of dancing shoes were found worn through, as though they had been dancing all night long.

The soldier was in a invisible cloak and did not drink the sleeping tea.

I liked this story because I enjoy reading fairytales about princesses. I liked Amy because she is very kind. I like that the princesses are naughty. I would definitely recommend some one else to read it.

The king was very ferocious and I like how the glorious princesses danced so elegantly.

There is a lot of mystery because each night the princesses wear out their dancing slippers. I liked finding out why... The best part is the illustrations.
