This book is AMAZING! I really liked this book because I read Charmed Life and the books are really good with Chrestomanci in it. This book was fiction although I would have wanted the last three books to be in real life and for me to be in it. My favourite character is Chrestomanci because he is a great character and I really like his personality in these stories. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in other worlds and are interested in magic.

This book was an excellent selection of Chrestomanci tales, each one displaying a different form of magic. One of my favourites was Warlock at the Wheel, a magician who has to adapt to modern Series 12 (our series). And it carries on with Diana Wynne Jones' proud tradition of getting Chrestomanci to solve the issue. I would recommend this book for readers aged 9-11, or just anyone who likes a bit of humorous comedy.

Thesis not my favourite book. It has 4 short stories in it all of which involve Chrestomanci saving the day.
