Yes it is fiction. I liked Jamie most as he is adventurous. I like the firing meteors falling down into the forest. Dinosaurs try and run into a crater to find shelter from meteors. Dinosaurs are scared their babies might die because of astampede. Jamie and Tom saves the Dinosaurs.

I gave this book 5 stars because It was really good. Jamie and Tom almost got ran over by an edmontosaurs. The edmontosaurs were stampeding because there was a meteor shower striking their home. The boys had to wave burning sticks to scare the dinosaurs and stop them from running into them or pushing them into a pit where the meteor had hit. They managed to survive and got home safe. It was very exciting.

It was quite interesting when I discovered that ammonites really are the key to the past.

This is a very interesting story in which a meteorite falls and dinosaurs are gone. And the meteorite also sets the forest on fire. I liked it and would recommend it.
