This incredible, original story captures all the humour, awkwardness, fun and frustrations of middle school – all told through one boy’s comics, journal entries, letters, doodles and newspaper clippings. Roan’s one dream is to leave home and attend Pilot Academy like his older brother, father and grandfather. But just as Roan is mysteriously denied entrance to Pilot School, he is invited to attend Jedi Academy – a school that he didn’t apply to and only recruits children when they are just a few years old. That is, until now …This inventive novel follows Roan’s first year at Jedi Academy where, under the tutelage of Master Yoda, he learns that he possesses more strength and potential than he could have ever dreamed of.

Roan sadly didn't make it to pilot academy and get an offer from Jedi academy and spent a harsh time controlling the force. I would recommend it to anyone that likes star wars.

A amazing blend of comics and books, though funny and not as serious as a graphic novel.

this book is good because master Yoda is very funny and the bully is called Cronah and he bullies a boy called Roan by singing Roan Roan Roan your boat gentle down the stream...

This is just like Diary of a Whimpy Kid but with a Star Wars twist. It's a must read for Jeff Kinney and Star Wars fans alike. It can give helpful advice for kids who are moving school - like I am - especially - unlike me - if you have no friends with you. I can't get enough of this great book!

It was amazing. The descriptions of the main character were like that of Diary of a Wimpy Kid except with force and more technology. Also, it was like D of a WK because in this one they are older so they start dating.
