Amazing book! I absolutely loved it from start to end! I have been reading it for a long time but I read every night and did a bit at a time. The book is much better than the film too!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book in the Harry Potter series, and it is full of excitement, mystery, and too many sad moments. In this book, Harry goes back to Hogwarts for his sixth year, and things feel a bit darker because Voldemort is becoming more powerful. These Harry Potter books are getting bigger and bigger, which I don't mind because there's more to read before it all ends. My favourite character in this book is definitely Professor Dumbledore. He is so wise and caring, always helping Harry understand more about Voldemort and his past. I don't like how frail he appears in this book, I guess it was foreshadowing his demise. I really don't like how every book now loses an important character before the end. I really enjoyed learning more about Severus Snape and how he loved Lily Potter, Harry’s mum. This was a big surprise for me. I never thought of Snape as someone who could love anyone, so learning about his feelings for Lily made me see him in a different way. It added so much depth to his character and made me feel sorry for him. This part of the story really made me think about how love can change everything. Maybe If James hadn't been jealous of Snape and Lily's friendship, maybe Snape would have been kinder to Harry. Another interesting thing was discovering who Voldemort was when he was younger. Harry's lessons with Dumbledore reveal so much about Voldemort's past and how he became the dark wizard. I enjoyed finding out a bit more about Tom Riddle. Understanding his past helped me see why he turned out the way he did. It made me realise that everyone has a story, and sometimes, it can lead them down a dark path. The book is also full of action and suspense, especially with the brewing tension at Hogwarts. I enjoyed the funny moments too, especially between Ron and Hermione. Their friendship brings some lightness to the story, but it’s also clear that there are big challenges ahead. The ending is quite tragic when Dumbledore dies. I felt so sad and shocked and betrayed because he was such a strong character and a great mentor for Harry and Snape. I would definitely recommend Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to anyone who loves magic, adventure, and stories about friendship. It’s an amazing read that keeps you guessing and teaches important lessons about love, loss, and the choices we make.
