Tally can’t wait to turn sixteen and become Pretty. I was really annoyed with Tally because she ruined the smoke and got David’s dad Killed just so she can be pretty.

My favourite character was Shay because she introduced Tally to a freedom she wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

This book is quite interesting, but it takes a while to get through it and remember what happened a couple of chapters ago. It's not as gripping as other books I've read, and I think the story is really good and interesting but it could be better written. Definitely for older kids that can grasp the story line a bit better. Still a decent book though!!
