In this book, Timmy gets a bad cut on his ear, and everyone starts laughing at him, so George goes somewhere alone where Julian, Dick and Ann can find her. Then, a group of thieves stole some blueprints, and they find them. The Famous Five get out while the thieves are in a passage, and the only way to get out by a rope, and Julian takes the rope so that the thieves can't get out. The police are very happy with them.

I loved this book because it was so exciting and demanded a lot of problem-solving! My favourite character was Guy Lawdley because he was very friendly, curious and clever. I would recommend it to children who love mysterious adventure books!
