This was a gripping read. My favourite character was Terry Kane as he was at the centre of the story though we only met him at the end.

I liked how the fair-folk weren't being nice but then Jo stopped them and they got to watch fireworks and went to the castle. My favourite character was Buffalo because he saved the famous Five from Pottersham.

They find a scientist who was kidnapped by another scientist. He was locked in a tower at faynights castle. My favourite character was a gypsy called jo. She was very brave and went into the dark tunnel with her a big python snake and she set the snake in the bad men.

I love Enid Blyton and have the full collection of famous five, George is my faverite character and who doesn't like Timmy!? Adventure is always around the corner for these kids, and when they meet an unfriendly fair, see a face at a window and learn that 2 scientists are missing they just have to investigate!
