I really enjoyed this book. I think that the story line was very clear and concise but i did keep confusing Ambicocco and Ambrogio but that was my fault. My favourite character was Talina because she was a very girl-power girl and very strong character. She really was the sort of girl you would like to be friends with. The only thing i was confused about was why the story was set in Venice but lots of the characters were French? All of the wolf-hyenas where French, the teacher was French and many others. That is the only thing that rates it down. I would totally 100% recommend this book to anyone aged between 10 and 16 looking for a bit of horror/magic.
