No-one, that is, except for Clare, the cleverest girl in the class. Together, she and Tom plan to prove his story is true - by catching the lion!

It was a funny book. The lion eats Tom's lion and nobody trust poor Tom. Fun to read. I recommended this book to everyone.

This book is quite short but very extraordinary and creative. It is about a boy named Tom. He has found a lion but no one believes him. Until one day he managed to get hold of the friendly old pussy-cat and show everyone he wasn't lying. I recommend this to people who like animals and are starting to read books nearer to 100 pages (this book has 76 pages).

I really enjoyed reading this book and read it in just two nights ! I loved reading about how no one wold believe that Tom had seen and found a lion. It was really nice how he looked after the lion and how everyone had to believe him in the end.

This was a good book. I really like the author Michael Morpurgo. It was about a boy who lived on a farm. He went searching for some firewood and saw a lion but no none believed him when he told them he saw one. The book is called the sausage lion because the lion ate some sausages. My favourite character was Tom who was the main character. I would recommend this book.

A boy called Tom finds a lion in his garden but when he tells his parents they don't believe him so Tom proves that he saw a lion by going missing from his parents and making them worried then Tom goes to the police station with the lion and his friend Clare an hour later Toms parents arrive he proves he saw the lion because his parents saw the lion at the police station
