Alex’s class are learning about the Ancient Greeks. That’s why Alex makes a temple (out of loo rolls and a cornflakes box) for the Greek god Zeus. He doesn’t expect the god himself to turn up, borrow his mum’s nightie and demand a sacrifice at half-past five in the morning.

A very funny book. Loads of interesting and angry moments. Zeus was my favourite character because he always acts innocent but he never is. A definite recommendation as it was my best book so far this summer, which I did not expect.

I liked this book and it was funny. I liked it when Zeus tried to make Alex have a war in the playground. Then he went back home with Alex and got presents for all the other gods(which was very hard)and then disappeared back to the land of gods.

I really didn't like the bit where the Zeus messed up his table. But it was really funny when he got coffee all over him. And it was funny when the teacher had a load of coffee on her table and said ummmm I love coffee!

Read this book because its about a mad and crazy Greek god who wants to start the war of troy in green hall school and Zeus wants the little boy to sacrifice a packet of crisps to him and guess what Zeus can turn himself into a hamster but he doesn't really like it so he only does it when he's has to . and he always has a paper temple on his large head that mostly makes the kids at green hall school laugh but the teachers call the police and Zeus gets put in prison but he escapes .read this book to find out more information about the mad Greek Zeus he really is a bit crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
