Rafe Khatchadorian is getting the Hollywood treatment in a film version of Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life starring Griffin Gluck, Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle and Thomas Barbusca.

After sixth grade, the very worst year of his life, Rafe Khatchadorian thinks he has it made in seventh grade. He’s been accepted to art school in the big city and imagines a math-and-history-free fun zone. Wrong! It’s more competitive than Rafe ever expected, and to score big in class, he needs to find a way to turn his boring life into the inspiration for a work of art. His method? Operation: Get a Life! Anything he’s never done before, he’s going to do it, from learning to play poker to going to a modern art museum. But when his newest mission uncovers secrets about the family Rafe’s never known, he has to decide if he’s ready to have his world turned upside down.

James Patterson’s winning follow-up to Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life is another riotous and heart-warming story about living large.

Yes because I find it very interesting that he wouldn't leave his habit of being so bad dispite his little trip to summer school

I loved this book it was amazing on how Rafe did a challenge called Get a Life in his summer drawing school. My favourite character is Rafe because he did an excellent drawing and got into that high rating drawing school. I would definitely recommend this excellent book!

I'm a 8 year old and found the book very funny. I like the way the author writes in the first person and by the second chapter I was totally hooked. My only criticism is that the story sometimes is a little slow.

There is always action, and it is never boring to read it. Even if you are getting bored, trust me - a dramatic twist is about to happen! I also highly recommend reading the first book before this one.

I like the book because it's an adventurous themed book it will possibly suck you in to it and I got addicted to it and desperate to finish it. I bet a lot of people will enjoy it and it's a little similar to Tom Gates if you like that you would quite possibly like it I have finished all the Tom Gates. The main character Rafe is doing an operation called operation get a life and it was a second operation the first one was to break all the school rules and nearly did but failed.
