I found this book a bit repetitive and boring. Paddy has a birthday and wakes up his family. He goes to work with the pollen puppies and he leaves because he makes everyone sneeze. He meets people on the way and ruins their stuff by accident. He invites them to his party. He gets a big juicy bone for his birthday and his best present was some eggs that hatched on his birthday with 3 little bluebird chicks!

He is so excited for his birthday he sprinkles pollen all over everyone and they all start sneezing. He made the moss mouse grumpy because he fell asleep on his pillow.

I thought the book was very good it was his birthday ay and he fell out with many people but they made up and had fun. My favourite character was Pippa. I would recommend this book to all ages.

You could read it to smaller children and it would make them understand that pollen makes you sneeze and to go to a different place until it's better
