Girls In Tears
Jacqueline Wilson, Nick Sharratt
The girls are back – but they’re not very happy! Ellie’s glorious romance with Russell is teetering on the rocks. Magda’s lost her pet and is desperately upset (though the others didn’t even know she had a hamster!). And Nadine is fed up with the other two lecturing her about the dangers of meeting someone on the Internet – she thinks her online boyfriend sounds wonderful!
Buckets of tears are wept and hundreds of tissues are sniffled into – can the girls survive these testing times?
Reviews

It's alright but there wasn't much action and I probably won't read it again. It's not bad, would recommend to age 14.

I really love this book. I like the set of ‘Girls’ books. I would certainly recommend the series. My favourite character is Ellie as I find I can identify with her a lot. That’s what I love about Jacqueline Wilson books- you can identify with the characters.

This book was not that interesting as I had hoped it would be but I liked how the characters communicated with each other but I am not going to recommend this book to anyone.

As ever, things are not running so smoothly for the girls. Ellie's romance is on its last legs, thanks to a persistent boyfriend, Nadine is "in love" with a boy she met on the Internet and is planning to go and meet him despite the other girls' insistence that things may not be quite as they seem, and Magda's hamster Fudge has died, leaving her less than happy with her friends' response to her grief. Each of them is shedding tears (rivers of them, in fact) and none of them can quite get to grips with the idea that their all-time best mates seem to be so absorbed in their own problems that communication between them is fast breaking down...

This is a brilliant book in a set of 4, aimed at teenage readers but if you like to read drama and books about situations in real life this is a book for you. Ellie is easy to connect with and you can almost put yourself in her place and feel her emotions through words. I loved this book and read it over and over again, I just wanted to read it multiple times to refresh my memory of the characters. If you love this book read the other 3 titles in this series: Girls in love, Girls out late and Girls under pressure.

Because I think that people can think a different end to this and writing up a similar story to it.
