For almost as long as they can remember, Jake and Lily have shared a ""special sense"". But their bond seems to be weakening as, at age 11, Jake starts spending more time with new friends than with Lily; upset and rejected, Lily has no one to confide in except her grandfather. Lily tries to find out who she is without her brother, but it's hard work. Her feeling of abandonment is as sharply felt as Jake's need to test his independence. Spinelli celebrates each child's individualism and growing self-awareness.

I liked having both points of view in a story about identity whilst being a twin (not only being labled .... and .... but each being an individual)

I love this book. It was my first book I read by Jerry Spinelli now I read him all the time.

its a fantastic book about two not so ordinary twins.and how they dream the same dreams think the same things and say the same things.if you love mystery this is a book for you.

it was a fantastic book about to not so ordinary twins and how they think the same thoughts dream the same dreams and say the same things.the only problem was there gender.and how lily started getting kicked away from her brother.its a book full of mysterys and i recommend it to all

This was a thrilling adventure book!! My reasons why other children should read this book is because it tells you about growing up and there are a lot of funny characters. My favourite character is Grandpa because even though he isn't a main character he is a funny one and a loving and caring one!
