My favourite part of the story was when the monkey ate all the magical peaches so he could live forever. A sad part of the story was when he turned the fairies into stone, that was mean. I think he is a very rude and cheeky monkey.

The story is chinese folk tale. The monkey king is main person in this book. I didn't like him because he is very selfish and tricky. The illustrations in this book are vibrant and detailed. I don't think I would recommend this book because it deals with sensitive religious material and features Buddha.

It interested me by the monkey stealing all the potions at the banquet, which he shouldn't have done and when the empires prayed to Bhudda to stop the monkey, they had a battle with the monkey King and then Bhudda trapped the monkey in a cave. It was fiction and I liked the character, The farmer the best. I would recommend to the ages of 5-8

I like when the Monkey King had a battle with the Buddha. The monkey ate all the peaches and he was rude. He needed punishment for what he did. But I still like the monkey's skills. I would recommend it to everyone.

My favourite character is Monkey. She's very clever but also very naughty. A thoughtful story.

This is a fiction book. The monkey uses his magical powers in a bad way. I enjoyed reading it.
