I thought it was a fiction book. If it was a fiction book I would like Ruby because she is helpful. I would recommend this book to Anaya because she likes fiction books.

Thing is like a fairy, troll, and squirel that has been put into a blender and came out. Ali invites Jackson and Ruby (Thing's owners) to his pool party and they bring Thing with them. But Thing's magic & when it gets Aaaarrgh!!! bad magic happens! Then it summons the loch ness monster! Read the story to get the full story!!!

If you think of a fairy-ish, squirrelly troll then you get Thing, a cute choice as a character for the You, me and Thing books! Karen McCombie has done a great job in making Thing as funny as it is! Most children will hopefully enjoy what it gets up to, so be ready if you love giggling until it hurts, lilos that change into something unexpected and a funny little Thing!

This book is good if you like swimming and flumes. The book is about a fairy troll crossed with a squirrel who's name is Thing. Thing goes into the swimming pool and does magic that turns an inflatable Loch Ness lilo in a real Loch Ness Monster.
