I liked it when Handel tricked the witch and stuck out a bone instead of his finger. I also like it when Gretel pushed the witch into the oven with all her might. They opened a secrete door and found a lot of gold and took them home. I think other children will like the story too.

Gretel's plan was very clever because she can trick the week witch and saved her brother. I think the most delicious thing in the house is the windowsill.

I wasn’t sure about the book. I was sad when the children got taken away from their family. And tried to make a trail to go back home. Then the witch was scary

The stepmother was really mean to hansel and gretel. I wanted to eat the sweet house. The witch was horrible and wanted to make hansel fat so she could eat him. I would tell my friends to read this book.
