The Famous Five are camping near the house of a famous scientist. When his top secret papers go missing, it’s up to the Five to find the thief. This is one of a series of reissues published to commemorate the centenary of Enid Blyton’s birth. Original illustrations by Eileen Soper are included.

There was an adventure at Big Hollow and the 5 had to do some detective work which was really fun to follow. Some special scientific papers had gone missing.

It was fiction. I liked Dick best because he was the one who kept getting everyone into trouble. Yes I would recommend this book to others.

This book is in a series of twenty one books based on five children: Anne, Georgina(who won’t respond unless she is called Gorge),Dick, Julian and George’s dog Timmy. They get together to solve mysteries and have FUN! The five have another mystery can they solve it? It I’ll be hard but they’ll keep it up and they’ll solve it! My favourite character is George as she is brave, determined and feisty well as always ready for an adventure and then gets on with it! Can the five solve the mystery or will it remain unsolved… I would certainly recommend this as it is well thought out, light hearted and fun.

It was alright but my favourite part is when Tinker & Mischief (his monkey) meet the circus people and get into a fight and a row. It is fiction. My favourite character is Timmy (Timmy is George's mongrel dog). I would recommend it to someone else.

I liked it because Georgina wants to be a boy and doesn't answer anyone unless she's called George.
