A classic adventure story with timeless appeal – reissued to celebrate Blyton’s centenary! What would the Seven do without Scamper the spaniel? First he discovers an unwanted visitor – then he protects the Seven as they spy on a thief late at night in the woods …

The Secret Seven is always up to an adventure of some kind and this time General Branksome has his medals stolen! I love the fact that the secret is only revealed at the end of each story.

I recommend this book. There are fifteen books in this collection and I have now read fourteen of them. I am excited to read the finale story. The secret seven decide to take on not one but two mysteries. But they only manage to solve one of the mysteries. There was a general whose medals had been stolen. Colin lived next to the general, he tries his very hardest to help his neighbour and friend out.

It was very lucky that the thief of the medals was the person who the Secret Seven met on their picnic to stop bird egg stealers. The scariest part of the book was when Wily’s dog was guarding the children. It was also lucky that Susie and her friend folllowed Jack to the place they were trapped so that the police could come and rescue them.
