I liked this book because they camp on an island and find treasure. My favourite part was when they smashed the motor boat using the axe!

I liked that it kept your heart beating throughout with all the twists and turns. I really liked the concept that someone owned their own island that they could do what they wanted on.

It was a very adventurous book. It makes us fascinated to see angry, sulky George turn into a lively pretty girl in the presence of her cousins. It shows what a marvellous effect good influencers have.

brilliant Blyton does it again! What's not to like about this action packed classic? This book has it all: Shipwrecks , secret dungeons, an uninhabited island, and four cousins and their dog. You will be glad you tried it from mystery to adventure plots and brilliant feasts. This book will transport you to kirrin island and you won't want to leave!

I liked Dick best because he rescued George and Julian. Also I like that its based in England but I don't like that George is sometimes rude or when she kicks Anne.

This story is really good but it has a lot of hard words in it and the children talk a bit funny. It is because it is set in the old fashioned days. It is exciting and I will be reading ore in this series.
