Good Work, Secret Seven: Book 6
Enid Blyton
The Secret Seven are siblings Peter and Janet, and Jack, Barbara, Pam, Colin and George. Together they are The Secret Seven – ready to solve any mystery, any time – in Enid Blyton’s classic series of 15 mystery novels.
In book six, Peter and Janet are the only witnesses when a car is stolen. They saw the thieves, and now the whole of the Secret Seven are involved. But when they realise they’re on the trail of a dangerous gang, the Seven don’t feel quite so brave.
Have they taken on too much this time?
First published in 1954, this edition features the original text and artwork.
Reviews

This is my sixth book in the series and I found it different from the others. It was set in autumn during Guy Fawkes and all the others are set in summer. The Secret Seven came up with good ideas and they always worked. I also like how they always forgive Scamper when he does something wrong.

I love the bit where he dresses up as a Guy Fawkes, and goes in the wheelbarrow.

Peter and Janet had a very exciting, but scary, adventure whilst hiding in the back of their father’s car, which had just been stolen!

I enjoyed this book a lot as I really like books to do with mystery so this one was perfect for me. My favourite character was Peter(leader) as he always took charge and made sure everyone was safe.

I thought it was ok . It was a good adventure but not the best secret seven I've read. Peter was my favourite character. It interested me because it was a big mystery to solve. no I wouldn't recommend because it was'nt very good.

This book is fiction.I rate this book 5 stars because this book is really amazing.A chapter called A Victory For Susie. In this chapter the seven were annoyed because she and her friends played tricks on them.

I liked it because the secret seven had to track down thieves. It was adventurous and I like adventures. It was also funny when Peter dressed up as a guy, with a mask, a funny wig, big boots and old trousers. Enid Blyton is one of my favourite authors.

This book isn't too long, so if you are a slow reader, then this is a good book. It's written very nicely, and is great!

Peter was really clever when he needed to watch Sid's cafe. His idea was to dress up like guy Fawkes and get into a wheelbarrow and park it near the cafe so he could see what was going on.
Sergeant Virgil Washington 22.08.2020

Very old fashioned story, with lots of difficult words, but I did enjoy it. It had lots of mystery
