I liked that Darren got to meet other vampires in this book. I think the story has continued very well and can't wait to read what happens next.

In this book they go on a journey to Vampire Mountain to visit the vampire council which happens every 15 years, as it is tradition to introduce a newly blooded vampire to the group. My favourite part was when they were climbing the mountain and they were helped by a pack of wolves. My favourite wolf was Rudy.
