Barney the Boat Dog: Very Brave Dog: No. 1

My favourite character was barney the dog. I liked the last bit when they found each other again because it was Jim and barney the dog. It started a bit sad in chapter 2 when barney got lost but it was a very happy ending in chapter 9 when they found each other. I would recommend it to dog lovers like me.

I really like this book.I would recomend it to people in the age of 6-9. I like Barney best, and I quite like it when Barney is going one way to find Jim, and Jim has gone the other way.

I loved this book, I had help to read it. I well read the other books about Jim and his dog Barney. I think lots of boys and girls would love this book. My grown ups like it too.

I liked this book because a dog and boy can't find each other. This book was very funny because they being at opposite ends of a tunnel like the boy goes to the over the tunnel to find his dog and the dog goes through the tunnel. I would recommend this book to someone that likes funny and boat books. This book was about a dog that lives on the canal in a boat called the Whistling Jack and they stop at a boat stop to get some food and then they set of to go but the dog woofs gets of the boat and grabs the dog treats that his owner has dropped. Then the boat goes of without him!

Barney is a nice dog and I felt sorry for him when he got lost. I liked the names of some of the canal boats, like Marrigold and Tigerlilly.

i like this book because its really funny that they always go in different directions and it has really kind characters in the story and that means the authors really nice . and id also like to say that the illustrations are beautiful.

Great book needs less pictures and more bigger words. The author should do a thicker book for older kids. Epic book :D

If you like dog stories, you'll love the Barney the Boat Dog titles. I have read the other 3 in this series and enjoyed all of them very much. It is a nice quiet story for bedtime.
