I have read book 20. It is a fiction about four people and one dog going to the Whispering Island to solve a mystery. I like Anne the best, because she is protecting her family very well. I recommend to read this book because the story is really adventurous.

I liked this book. My favourite character from the ‘Well done famous five’ story is Dick because he saved the horse Thunder along. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes adventures.

There are eight excellent stories in this book. I liked the one about Christmas most. Timmy the dog followed a burglar and saved Christmas Day.

This is a little short story collection of the famous five. It is a little bit dissapointing because it is not as exciting as all the other famous five books, but there are some funny stories! I thought George Needs a Haircut quite funny!

This book has a lot of detail and is very interesting. For the mysteries it is hard to work them out and you learn the clues as the Five learn the clues and you discover at the same time as them. My favourite story in the book is Five have a Troubling time. This is because it is a mystery and you do then find out who had the light on Kirrin Island.

I didn't like the short stories as much, they were too short and there wasn't much adventure.
