I like this character and the badger too. I enjoyed the story. I could not read it by myself as I found it difficult so my mum had to help me.

I thought it was funny that Mr Tod and Tommy Brock rolled down the hill still fighting. I liked Tommy Brock’s plan because he put a dressing gown under the covers to trick Mr Tod then had a cup of tea in the kitchen!

Another brilliant Beatrix book. Mr Tod is a fairly nasty antihero who threatens most of the other animals, especially rabbits. He meets his match in Tommy Brock, the most horrible and realistic badger in all English literature (who looks a bit like Boris Johnson). It also has Benjamin Bunny and the return of Peter Rabbit who is a bit more resourceful in this story than he was in his own. Favourite character: I suppose it is Tommy Brock, though you can almost smell the evil he exudes.
