The magic faraway tree is a fiction book. I like Silky the fairy the best because she had pretty golden hair and was always very neat and tidy. Joe, Beth and Frannie's cousin Rick had come to stay with them because his mother wasn't feeling very well. Rick is nice and all, but he is quite greedy. When Joe, Beth, Frannie and Rick went to the land of goodies they also go with Moon-Face, Silky and the Saucepan Man. But when they're suppose to leave, Rick breaks some of the gingerbread windowsill and then takes a peppermint knocker of a door. It was a man's knocker that Rick had taken. Nobody else had seen Rick do these things except the man. I would recommend this book to somebody who likes adventure stories because this is an adventurous book.
